LIQUOR IN THE FRONT, POKER IN THE... 26th of July

So, the bi-monthly Boho poker night was held last Wednesday night at Charing Cross. Two new players entered the arena, Ace, from last week blog, and ‘Stand In David’.

Here’s what went down:
We got really drunk, and interlaced a drinking game with the poker. PR David was out to avenge his painful loss from a few weeks ago, so he wasn’t drinking (or ‘cheating’ as they call it in Australia).

So he won the first hand, then another, then another. He had 300% to 400% more chips than ANYONE else.

So to cut a long story short, poor PR David did his arse, and lost it all. The poor dude was absolutely crushed, and was just a shadow of the man he was only 3 hours before. It was both really sad to witness and f*cking hilarious at the same time. Some-one forgot to tell ‘Stand In’ David that he was there for display purposes only, and he proceeded beat everyone else....

PR David is out for revenge has convened an emergency poker night to take place tonight in the new venue;  ‘The Pavel’s Palace’. Thing is, even if you beat Pavel, you won’t actually leave with the cash. Good luck David......

The weekend got off to a good start with Ashlene’s 21st in the VIP on Friday from 9:30 through to the wee hours. Their whole group managed to go the distance, except for one sheila, who disappeared early.

The new uniforms have been really well received by the folks I talked to over the weekend too, apart from Connolly’s effort.

We’ve got our massive birthday celebrations coming up on Friday the 6th of August... We still have a couple of tables available, so email us if you’re interested: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

See You On The Weekend,
